Calling All Amateur and Professional Photographers for Project Interfaith's First Interfaith Photography Exhibit

Project Interfaith in partnership with one of Omaha's finest arts organizations, the Cathedral Arts Project, invite all amateur & professional photographers to participate in its first interfaith and sacred objects exhibit titled “Images of Faith: Public and Private Rituals” Exhibit. The exhibit will run from October 9- November 16, 2008 at the Cathedral Cultural Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

We are looking for 15-20 participants from the following religious backgrounds to participate in the interfaith photography exhibit: Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, and Islam. For this program, participants will:
· Explore the role of ritual in their spiritual practices & religious traditions
· Have a chance to display photographs that express what ritual means to them in the context of their religious tradition
· Participate in a photography workshop
· Write a brief narrative of their photos
